President & Executive Director

Amy was born and raised in Fort Wayne, IN and attended catholic schools from grade school to high school. She then went on to study marketing at the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration. During her time in Austin, she worked at a full-service Marriott property and gained tremendous experience in the service and hospitality industry. She continued her hospitality career at the then Marriott property in Fort Wayne and from there she went into the insurance industry first through life and health insurance then into a Claims Administrative position with an independent insurance brokerage company.

As a professional and entrepreneur, Amy is dedicated to helping others bring their dreams to reality. Amy started a non-profit organization in Indiana where she grew up and one in California where he was stationed in the Marines and lived for a short time, to help families in similar situations by providing temporary housing and organizing services. This experience shaped her career and has also started Torrez Enterprises where she currently manages an independent film production and music production. Amy has also produced a podcast called Embracing Adversity. She is currently finishing her Masters of Science degree in Entertainment Business.

Galit Fuller brings over 12 years of professional experience in the insurance industry, with 8 years as the owner of a successful State Farm agency. As a life and disability insurance expert, Galit is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and business owners protect their futures with clarity, education, and compassion.

Beyond her professional achievements, Galit has a deep passion for building community and creating meaningful connections. After moving to the United States from Israel at the age of 25, she worked tirelessly to build both a thriving business and a strong personal network. She is the proud founder of Mompreneurs of LA, a vibrant community supporting entrepreneurial mothers, and The Connection Company, where she coaches professionals on how to network with confidence and authenticity.

Galit is also a proud mom to her four-year-old daughter, Emilia, and an avid true crime enthusiast. She approaches all of her work — whether in business, community leadership, or family life — with energy, empathy, and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Galit is honored to join the board and looks forward to contributing her skills, passion for service, and dedication to strengthening the community.

With over two decades of experience, Annette is passionate about providing clients with excellent service and support. Her enthusiasm, negotiation skills, and professionalism have been very appreciated by her clients, as she has saved them time, money, and helped them through every aspect of the home selling process. Throughout her successful career with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services, Annette has the distinction of being a consistent top performing Realtor.

Annette specializes in listing and selling homes in the greater Los Angeles area, including Pasadena, Glendale, and adjoining communities. She certainly knows the area, having been born in Pasadena and raised in South Pasadena. Annette strongly believes in giving back to the community and charities, and generously gives of her time and finances. A portion of her earnings on every transaction goes to the Berkshire Hathaway Charitable Organization which supports numerous local charities.

Debbi Chiang is a results-driven marketing professional with over 10 years of experience in media strategy, planning, and execution. Proven expertise in strategic analysis, digital data reporting, and event management, with a strong passion for creativity and innovation.

Debbi has a passion for ensuring individuals with illnesses or disabilities can travel with dignity.

Angela Hsiao is an attorney, entrepreneur, and creative visionary with a deep commitment to building systems of care, dignity, and legacy for individuals and families navigating life’s most critical transitions. As the founding partner of Sage Legacy Law, Angela brings her legal acumen and heart-centered approach to estate planning, helping families protect their loved ones, preserve wealth, and plan for multigenerational well-being.

Angela also co-founded Hello Sage, a platform and concierge-style family office experience connecting clients with trusted professionals across law, finance, wellness, and education. Her work weaves legal planning with culturally responsive guidance, offering clarity and empowerment to families, particularly in immigrant and bilingual communities. 

Through her creative agency, Velvet Voltage, Angela amplifies visionary voices in wellness, literature, and the arts. Her projects—ranging from curated elopement experiences to artist management and brand activations—are rooted in a commitment to beauty, authenticity, and transformation.

My professional background is in community outreach with my roller derby team and benefits education with Aflac, where I partner with families, schools, and businesses to help people feel supported and protected.

As a cancer survivor, I know firsthand how important it is to have both resources and community during life’s toughest seasons. That experience has shaped my passion for giving back and using my journey to be a good force for others. Whether through organizing creative fundraisers, like a family disc golf event, or simply connecting with people one-on-one, I believe in the power of coming together to lift each other up.

I embrace every part of who I am and strive to help others feel the same. I’m excited to bring my heart, energy, and ideas to help further the mission of Amy’s Place here in Sierra Madre.
